From time to time the Smith Family enjoys leaving the familiar and immersing into the unfamiliar. Such an experience expands our understanding of ourselves and others. In 2010 we followed the Bronzan's to a foreign land with a foreign culture and a foreign language. We invited you to share our journey.
10 Inland-Scape
Thus far, I've seen many homes in the heart of Croatia that were landscaped with white, pink, salmon, and red geraniums overflowing in window boxes. Also popular are large bougainvillea vines along the side of houses; they pour bright purple color down the walls. Beds of blue large agapanthus, colorful begonias, pansies, ferns, and palms of various kinds are common. Lawns are typically mowed but not typically trimmed.
