From time to time the Smith Family enjoys leaving the familiar and immersing into the unfamiliar. Such an experience expands our understanding of ourselves and others. In 2010 we followed the Bronzan's to a foreign land with a foreign culture and a foreign language. We invited you to share our journey.
14 Village Dining
For dinner Petey and I took our party to the Bulldog café for a walkup meal. No sale. They were out of kebabs. Plan “B” was a short walk into the deeper section of the local village. We discovered an interesting dive with a second-floor patio overlooking the Korčula coastline. It wasn’t the best meal of our trip but the ambiance was memorable. Tanya, our waitress, seemed thrilled to serve non-locals … she was terrific. And to our good fortune, we were blessed with live music by a guitar playing duo just below our upstairs patio. Serenaded by soothing classics, swapping stories of the day with our new friends, the sea breeze in the air, and a hospitable waitress, it was a meal to remember.
