17 Solo Swim

A shortcut back to Cavtat included a ferry ride across the Kotor Bay. Four consecutive action-packed days in Cavtat … it was time to decompress. For me, that meant a solo swim. I started at the north harbor; swam a mile around the peninsula and ended at the south harbor. Along the way I dodged a water taxi, some fishing lines and a yacht. It was a bit creepy at times but felt great to finish the loop.

To close the evening, the American eight shared a joyful meal at the Poseidon … great location, great food, great fellowship. During our meal we watched another water polo game. As was the custom, we concluded the day with a single-scoop gelato … I love holiday!
